Introducing A Convenient Way To Pay Bills

Direct Pay offers an easy and convenient interface that presents real-time payments and balances. Direct Pay provides Launch CU members with a single, elegant view of all of their bills, making it easy  to track recently paid bills and upcoming bill due dates. Direct Pay comes equipped with all of the modern features online users have come to expect including push notifications, insights on spending, and real-time payments. Best of all, Direct Pay allows members to use their Launch
FCU debit card (or account number) to pay their bills.

How To Get Started With Direct Pay

Direct Pay is easy to set up within Digital Banking. All you have to do to get started with Direct Pay is search and select a company and follow the prompts for entering the online credentials for the merchant that you wish to pay. Direct Pay will sync the account with Launch CU in minutes.

1. How Do I Access Direct Pay?
You can access Direct Pay from the main menu in Digital Banking under the "Transactions" tab.
2. What Are Some Of The Benefits Of Direct Pay?
Direct Pay presents real-time updates of balances and payments(s) (this week, next week, next month; bills due, and bills paid). Direct Pay also syncs and verifies provider-specific account numbers using customer-provided login credentials within 30 seconds.
3. What Does Syncing Mean?
Syncing means that your bill information wasn't readily available. It may take up to 24 hours for a provider to sync. For most providers, it happens within a minute.
4. What If I Don't See A Certain Provider?
If you don't see the provider you want to add to your account, select "search." Type in the provider you would like added and select, "search." Direct Pay will review your search, and if it qualifies, it will add the provider and notify you via email.
5. How Long Does It Take For Digital Banking To Add A Provider?
It takes about 24 hours for Digital Banking to add a requested provider. You will receive a notification once the provider is added. be sure you have bill notifications turned on so you can be alerted when the provided is added.
6. What Happens If Takes More Than 24 Hours?
If it does take longer than 24 hours please email us via a secure message.
7. Can I Pay Individuals With Direct Pay?
With Direct Pay, you can only pay companies and providers, not individuals.
8. Can I Link Any Debit Card or Checking Account?
Direct Pay users can only link their Launch CU Debit Card(s) and Launch CU Checking Account(s).
9. How Do I Add A Bill?
To add a bill:
  1. Go to "add a bill."
  2. Search for the provider you wish to add in the search box.
  3. Select the provider.
  4. Enter your login credentials.
  5. Select "verify."
10. How Do I Remove A Bill?
To remove a bill:
  1. Select the bill you would like to remove.
  2. Go to "settings" then select "unlink."
11. Can I Change My Auto Payment Schedule?
You can change your auto payment schedule at any time. To change an auto payment schedule:
  1. Select the bill you want to change.
  2. Go to "settings" and then "payment schedule."
  3. You can then choose to have your bill automatically paid ten days before the due date, five days before the due date, the day before the due date, on the due date, or when the bill is issued.
12. Is There A Default Auto Pay Setting?
If you have your bill on auto pay, the default payment setting is the day before the due date.
13. Can I Schedule An Immediate Payment?
To schedule an immediate payment:
  1. Select the bill you want to pay.
  2. Choose a payment method.
  3. Click "pay now."
14. How Do I Schedule A Payment In Advance?
To schedule a payment in advance:
  1. Select the bill you want to pay.
  2. Choose a payment method.
  3. Click "schedule.
  4. Select your desired payment date.
15. How Long Will A Payment Take To Post?
Payments may be debited immediately or they may take 1 to 3 days to post to your account depending on the provider and payment method used to pay the bill. There may also be delays on weekends and holidays.
16. When Do Bills Get Paid?
Your bill will be paid by the end of the day on your desired payment date. However, in some cases it may take up to 24 hours for the bill to be paid based on the merchant.
17. Can I Pay More Than The Bill Amount?
You are not able to pay more than the due amount.
18. Can I Make A Partial Payment?
Direct Pay does not allow for partial payments on bills.
19. Can I Cancel A Payment?
Once your bill is "processing" you cannot cancel the payment.
20. What Happens If My Bill Wasn't Paid?
If your bill wasn't paid, check to make sure you do not have a message on the bill stating that your attention is required. The "attention required" message could be in place because of a declined payment, a problem with your login credentials, or a problem accessing your bill to make a payment.
21. What Area Code Can I Expect From Direct Pay?
Correspondence from Direct Pay will be received from a 512 area code.
