Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our number one priority at Launch is to protect our employees and our members from the COVID virus. We are making every effort to continue offering full services to our members while abiding by The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for the health and safety of our members and staff. This includes additional cleaning protocols, hand sanitizer being available in nearly every nook and cranny, plexiglass being installed at workstations, and spreading our employees out so that they are no closer than 6 feet apart while servicing our members. All employees are also required to wear face coverings for their protection and yours. Members are required to wear face coverings while using our lobbies. If you cannot wear a face covering, then please utilize our drive thrus or digital banking services. Thank you for your continued support and trust.
Branch Changes
Lobbies Are Open For All Transactions
Due to COVID-19 positivity rates decreasing in our area, our lobbies are open. Although an appointment for services such as account openings, accessing safe deposit boxes, account maintenance and lending services is highly recommended to expedite your visit and prevent wait time, teller services will be available on a “walk-in” basis.
When visiting our branch lobbies, please ensure to abide by all CDC guidelines to include wearing a face covering and maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from others. In the event you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, have been in recent contact with someone who has tested positive or who is currently experiencing symptoms, please refrain from entering a branch. Our drive-thru, contact center, virtual appointments or digital banking solutions are available to assist you.

We encourage our members to follow the CDC’s recommended guidelines for their protection as well as our employees. As such, we would like to remind members of Launch’s services that can be accessed from the comfort of their own home to include Digital Banking, Bill Pay and Mobile Check Deposit. If you have not already enrolled in Digital Banking, we encourage you to do so. There are also more than 1,220 Publix Presto machines throughout Florida and other states that members can access cash at no fee if they are not feeling well or are concerned about potentially exposing others to an illness. We also recommend the use of your debit or credit card to avoid handling cash.
Federally Insured
We all have plenty on our minds with COVID-19. Worrying about your money shouldn’t be one of them. Launch deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 per individual depositor by The National Credit Union Association (NCUA). Insured money will always be there for you. Launch is financially strong and continues to earn a five-star Superior rating by Bauer Financial. We want to remind you, now is not the time to withdrawal your money; the safest place for your money is here. And we will never let you down.

If you are experiencing hardships due to unemployment, please contact us right away so that we can work together to find you the best solution. During this difficult time, Launch would like you to know we care about you and we’re all in this together. Launch is able to help with our Skip A Pay program, where you can skip your next payment with no fee. Certain qualifications apply. We have temporarily increased limits for daily mobile deposits due to the current COVID-19 situation, until further notice. We have temporarily increased the limit on the amount of cash per day that a member can access from the ATM from $500 to $1000. This will help our members to lessen the need to make multiple visits.
Beware of Scams
As an added measure of protection, please know that fraudsters sometimes use health alerts as an opportunity to increase their ID theft and other efforts.
